Round 2
Tonight I get to see Prince in concert for the second time this year. How cool. Thanks JD.

I don’t think my birthday can get any better. And it isn’t even here yet.
I ran across one of my mom’s friends today. One of those people that remembers me from when I was about 10. Anyhow, she asked how I liked my job. I swallowed the real truth and said it was pretty good. When people ask questions like that or “How are you?” do they want the real answer or just the polite one. “Everything is good.” Usually I try not to be the phony but I wonder, if I should. It seems, in this society, that is the status quo.
I have only few people, when they ask how are things, they actually want to hear the real answer. Gosh I really miss those folks. Hopefully I will be able to see them again someday soon.
There are some really cool things about living so close to Detroit. The other night I was going up to a mall to visit the Apple store. Along the way I saw a 2005 Ford Mustang on the road and they won’t be available until the fall. This thing looks so cool. A nice throw back to the sixties. Too bad it is probably going to cost a bazillion dollars.
I don’t know what I would do. Click here.
I just saw that the new iPods have been announced. The 20 & 40 GB models are $100 less than before and have more rounded edges. The scroll wheel has been changed up a bit and they have a longer battery life, 12 hours. They are no longer going to produce the 15 GB model.
You can read more about it here.
I have been thinking about getting a second job for a little spending money. Who knows maybe I can save it so I can get back over to Europe. I really don’t want to work retail, but I have thought of one perk of working retail. The Discount. If I get a job selling furniture, I can get the new stuff that I need for the house. A job selling carpet will help me with the flooring I want. There might be something to this second job stuff. Maybe I should check out Sears. They seem to carry it all. I could completely fix up my house, and maybe find some clothes too. Hmmmm… Or I could save all of it so I can get my Masters.
I know this is a bit obsure however, if someone were to do a MSN search for bushcheney2004 this blog is the tenth page listed. Pretty cool.
I have so many different ideas, it gets frustrating for me. Before I can get to work on one, something else grabs my attention. If I was a kid I probably would be told that I have ADD. This morning upon thinking about my inability to remained focused on any one thing, a light bulb went off.
I should use the fact that I do have so many ideas as a really wonderful sign. In this world where so many people think that things can’t change or get better, I can’t stop thinking of ways to make things change. In this day that must be seen as a positive thing.
Yesterday I stopped at the book store. The new edition of The Prophet’s Way has been released. In the afterword there is a small paragraph about me. How cool is that. There are mentions of several of my friends around the world. All of us trying in our own small way making a difference in the world. I guess lack of focus isn’t always a bad thing after all. If nothing else it got me mentioned in a real book in a real bookstore.
Here is a little news story for the weekend. Enjoy!!
