If a tree falls in the woods…
It is not so much that I don’t have anything to say, it is more like I don’t have anything I want to share lately. I have been very reflective of late and most all of that is not for public consumption. (At least not now.)
So with that said, the only thing I can think of to share is a great book I read last week. The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman was written over 20 years ago but I have just discovered it. It was a fast but great read. The book helped me remember some things that I had forgotten. If you have a chance to either see the movie or read the book, pick the latter. I think you will like it.
COM3 and GON3
Another birthday has come and passed for me and I don’t feel much different. Well maybe I am more certain about a few things, but over all 33 feels a lot like 32. Mainly, I need to remember to live in the moment more often. Don’t worry about the past because there is nothing that can be done to change it. (Well, maybe if I had a sup’ed up Delorean.) And the future, while it is good to plan for it, I shouldn’t keep my head there because I am missing the moment. But, hey, if you are a long time reader of this blog I suppose these aren’t new ideas to you.
