Joining the Second Life party

I finally downloaded a copy of Second Life. I have heard at least three different people talk about it on three different podcasts so I figured I should check it out. The bad news…. they are doing mantainance so I can’t see what all of the hype is about. I will be known as Adam Figtree on SL so look for me.
Let me know what you think of it, I looked at it but was afraid I’d get addicted and have to pay 9.95 a month after the first week.
