Maybe one person can make a difference

I heard a story on Monday about a couple of dogs found in a local business’ dumpster skinned with their paws cut off. I hadn’t read or heard a thing about it. Where I work I see news reporters daily. I don’t really have much interaction with them but yesterday I flagged one down and told him what I had heard. Guess my tip was deemed newsworthy by them. Looks like the local paper thought so too.

Update: I just saw a promo on Fox Toledo about the story.

  1. That is impressive that a reporter actually followed through on your information.
Maybe you can pass on the information I have been putting out concerning an elected body that seems to be negligent in its responsibilities and in accountability but of which the media has thus far ignored.
Check it out on Toledo Talk.
And hey, if you don’t want to pass it on, maybe you can just suggest to the reporter(s) that I be contacted. I am more than willing to speak out.

  2. It is all about picking the right reporter and knowing that what kind of video footage they will want to run. Let me see what I can come up with for you.

  3. Someday, whenever I can learn how to podcast, I hope to have a regularly scheduled podcast that would consist of commentary and guest interviews on current events, community involvement, citizen participation, politics, and governmental accountability.

  4. Adam, would you be willing to teach your paternal parent how to podcast?
I still would like to have a regularly scheduled podcast that would consist of commentary and guest interviews on current events, community involvement, citizen participation, politics, and governmental accountability.
